Rowsley Village Hall was built in 1927 so the people of the village would have somewhere to meet. It is the only community hall in the Rowsley and Northwood &Tinkersley Parishes. Rowsley Village Hall remains a community-run hall, run by local people for local people.
Rowsley Village Hall is a registered charity (charity number 222773) and is run entirely by volunteers. The Village Hall building has recently been refurbished thanks to a grant from the Big Lottery Fund (in 2016).
