Liverpool Parish Church

An open, community-focused church with multi-use spaces for hire

Hiring the Parish Centre at Liverpool Parish Church

Liverpool Parish Church is ideally situated in Liverpool City Centre right in the heart of the commercial district, next to the River Mersey and the Liver Building, and surrounded by hotels. We are in easy reach of the main bus station in Liverpool and only a two minute walk from Moorfields (Old Hall Street exit) train station.

St Nick’s is an ideal location for concerts, training events, meetings and other bookings; equally we would encourage Church groups to come have quiet days here.

The building is wheel-chair accessible and has a lift to the basement and first floor levels. Toilets are provided in the basement level, including disabled toilet facilities.

The Refectory

This is the largest of our rooms in the Centre. It is located at first floor level, accessible via the lift, immediately above the entrance hall to the church. A large kitchen is immediately adjacent which can be used if catering is required. The Refectory is equipped with tables and meeting chairs.

The kitchen has access via the Refectory but also separate access avoiding the Refectory. There is a large gas cooker, microwave oven, fridge and freezer facilities and an industrial dishwasher.  Crockery and cutlery is available on request.

Depending on layout, the Refectory can seat up to approximately 50-60 people for meetings and presentations in theatre layout with up to a maximum of 100 standing.

A portable AV system (55” screen) is available.

The Alexandra Room

Refurbished in 2017, this room is a smaller meeting room which is located in the basement section of the Church Centre and is named after HRH Princess Alexandra who formally re-opened the Parish Centre after its renovation in 1993.

The room is equipped with 4 conference tables and 20 chairs.

There is a small kitchen adjacent which could be used for making tea/coffee, light refreshments etc.

A portable AV system (55” screen) is available.

The Quiet Room

This room is seated in the basement of the Parish centre and can be booked as an additional small meeting or break-out room with any of our other rooms.  It has a smart, bright and fresh appearance and is equipped with a small table and chairs.  It is suitable for six people.

This room has its own access to the smaller kitchen through a private door.
